Customer panel in fireTMS – freight monitoring

Do you receive questions from your customers about the status of their cargo, and don’t always have the time or opportunity to answer them? fireTMS has an effective solution for you – the Customer Panel. With the Customer Panel, you can give selected customers access to the system (by assigning them the appropriate permissions) and thus ensure that they are able to keep track of the status of their ordered loads. This will not only streamline the process of organising transport, but will also make it possible to react quickly to unexpected situations along the route. Access to the Customer Panel also contributes to fostering positive relations between the parties involved in transport operations and to attracting profitable orders and maintaining business partnerships.

A customer who is granted access to the Panel can:

  • view lists of forwarded loads,
  • enter new loads,
  • check the status of loads (vehicle position, loading and unloading status)
  • download documents related to the load (e.g. CMR, invoice).

The customer panel allows transport to be monitored from the first loading to the last unloading and will undoubtedly speed up the information transfer between the principal and the contractor.

Efficient transport execution – ETA in fireTMS

Lack of up-to-date information on the status of an order is hindering your transport fulfilment? Do you want to plan and optimise your transports effectively? Use the ETA calculation function in fireTMS, that is the Estimated Time of Arrival. It enables the forwarder or dispatcher to:

  • estimate the time of arrival for loading or unloading, 
  • plan the driver’s working time,
  • calculate whether the driver will be able to reach their destination without having to stop en route,
  • control the journey and the drivers’ work.

Integration of fireTMS with GBox telematics

Integracja pozwala użytkownikom fireTMS na bezpośrednie wysyłanie zleceń z systemu na terminal pokładowy kierowcy z pełną informacją o czasie i miejscu załadunku oraz rozładunku, a następnie ich statusowanie. Information on the current location of the vehicle and the stage of transport can be checked in real-time, making transport monitoring much faster. The system also estimates whether the load will be collected on time and, ultimately, whether it has been delivered to the point indicated in the order. In addition, once the load has been delivered, the driver can use a mobile scanner to attach the order documentation required for invoicing. This enables rapid finalisation of the transport.

Integration of fireTMS with Transics telematics

With this integration, fireTMS users can also send transport orders from the system directly to the driver’s on-board terminal. Before sending the order, the order data and points on the map can be edited. Once the order has been received, the driver can report on the various stages of the order and report on the status of current activities (e.g. traffic jam, refuelling). All information is immediately displayed in fireTMS. This will undoubtedly make the work of forwarders and dispatchers easier, allow transport to be monitored and also enable contact with the driver.

Transport monitoring – the fireTMS Driver app

The fireTMS Driver mobile app is another tool that supports transport monitoring and can be called a driver assistant. Thanks to its functionality, it enables fast and efficient communication between the forwarder and the driver and ongoing transport control. Access to information about the current status of the transport allows a quick reaction in the event of unexpected situations on the route. This is very important for transport and forwarding companies, which often have to face them during the execution of orders.

Key benefits of fireTMS Driver:

  • sending orders from the system to the driver’s phone,

  • order status monitoring,
