This article provides an overview of the features and improvements that we have introduced in the latest version of the system:

Improvements in the reporting of odometer status with GPS during loading and unloading

In transport orders, you can mark the status of a loading and unloading point as Completed. Until now, when the status of a selected point changed to Completed, the system would update the odometer status information if the integration with the selected GPS provider made such data available. In the new system version, the odometer status information will be automatically updated without the need to change the status. If the driver approaches less than 500 metres from a point, and their status is marked Departing a point or Started an activity at a point, the system will update the odometer status using GPS.

Information on kilometres driven between specific points in the Route calculation view

Another new function is information on the number of kilometres driven between individual points in the Route calculation view (Loads >> Route calculation). Additionally, in the case of a ferry crossing, the system will also show the number of kilometres the vehicle will have to travel by ferry. This improvement will undoubtedly simplify route planning and analysis.

New information in the fireTM API

In addition to the already available option of integrating fireTMS with selected accounting software, you can integrate fireTMS with any other programmes via the API (see documentation). In the latest versions of the system, we have expanded the API to include such additional information as:

  • the option to add custom loads,
  • debit notes,
  • counterparty cost account number,
  • counterparty revenue account number.

If you would like to find out more about the odometer status updates for individual order points and other new features, please contact us.
