Additional improvements for the fireTMS Driver application

Two new global configuration options for the fireTMS Driver application (Configuration >> System configuration>> Mobile application tab) have appeared with the new system version. The first one is a setting concerning the order in which the driver must complete the order points, where, for example, it can be specified that the driver must complete all previous order points before starting the point execution.

The second option is the possibility to set a default sending of point statuses from the order to the application. If the order is sent to the app again and the driver has already marked some of the points of the order as Completed, the system will take these statuses into account when sending them to the app. In this way, the driver will not have to mark the same order points as Completed again.

In addition to the global settings, the user can change these settings once in the view of the dispatch window when dispatching the selected order.

Default trade credit limit

With this function, a default trade credit limit can be set for each new customer added to the system. To do so, go to Configuration >> System configuration >> Order handling tab >> Default contractor settings. Additionally, you can select the “Block acceptance of loads above the limit” checkbox and the system will not allow to approve a load exceeding the set limit.

After using the blocking function, each time the credit limit is exceeded, the system will not only display information about the customer’s debt, but will also prevent the forwarder from saving the Load (customer’s order) and creating an order.

In the case of individual arrangements with selected contractors, it is possible to go to that customer’s file and edit the default limit. To do this, go to Files >> All contractors >> Edit >> Trade credit tab.

Integrations with Vector GPS and Webdispečink GPS

Vector GPS and Webdispečink GPS are the next GPS providers that have joined the list of providers integrated with fireTMS. With these integrations, customers can track the location of their fleet in the system in real time. To integrate fireTMS with the selected supplier, go to Configuration >> System configuration>> Transport configuration tab >> Telematics Configuration (GPS) section.
