Earlier in our blog post, we mentioned the option to define a template for an order confirmation e-mail to a customer. The new system version offers the added option of tailoring an email template to an order and invoice. To add or change the existing e-mail template, go to: Configuration >> System Configuration >> Print Configuration section on the right-hand side >> Templates tab >> Order / Invoice sub-tab. The solution allows you to customise the text of your messages to suit the individual preferences of the system users.
Transferring costs from a Here map to an order
Another new feature allows you to transfer calculated costs from a Here map to an order. To do this, in the route preview of the selected order, select Approve and transfer the cost to the order. By transferring costs calculated in Here maps directly to orders, you can save time, reduce errors and make it easier to manage and forecast costs throughout the logistics process. For more details on Here maps, please visit our blog and website.
Customer verification
Another new feature in fireTMS comes with the option of defining different types of customer verification. Now you can add details about their insurance, licences or other required documents, along with their expiry date. On top of this, you can choose to automatically block a business partner after a selected date. This feature helps you to have full control over your business processes and make working with business partners more secure.
