In this article, you will learn about the following improvements and new features in the fireTMS system:
Automatic notifications for CMR documents: feature extension
The function for automatic notifications regarding the delivery of delivery confirmation documents (CMR), described in one of our previous news posts, has been expanded with additional configuration options. Users can now decide when the automatic sending of reminders should begin. There are two options to choose from: upon completion of the order or after the latest unloading date. This allows you to better tailor the reminders to the specific operational processes within your company and manage the completeness of your documentation even more effectively.
Corridor exit notifications: additional email addresses
We have expanded the corridor departure detection configuration to include the option of adding additional email addresses to which notifications will be sent when a vehicle deviates from its designated route. The new field is available in Configuration >> System configuration >> Transport configuration tab >> Actual routes option, next to the existing settings. The user can specify up to 3 email addresses (separated by a semicolon) that will receive notifications independently of standard recipients, such as the cargo owner or the assigned freight forwarder. This allows for better tailoring of information distribution and increased control over transport execution.
We have introduced a new Note column, available on lists of loads, orders, sales and purchase invoices, and payments (as the Comment column). It displays the first 60 characters of the entry, which was previously only visible in the details of the relevant object. For longer entries, the full content is available when you hover the cursor over the entry (tooltip). We have also enabled quick addition and editing of notes directly from the list, without having to switch to the detail view. In addition, we have introduced a Note filter, which allows you to easily search for records based on the information they contain. This functionality streamlines day-to-day work, increases the accessibility of key data and speeds up the management of operations within the system.
Integration with GPS Tracknamic: current location and odometer reading
We have introduced integration with the GPS Tracknamic system, which enables the automatic retrieval of the vehicle’s current location and odometer reading. This data is updated and saved in the system, and the odometer reading is displayed at the end of each day directly in the vehicle file. This gives users constant access to up-to-date information about the fleet, making it easier to monitor vehicle operations, analyse mileage and plan operational and maintenance activities.
