In this article, you will learn about the following improvements in the fireTMS system:
Automatic email to the customer after completion of loading and loading or unloading points
In the new version of the system, we have introduced a feature that automatically sends an email to the customer after loading at loading and unloading points or after the entire load has been completed. This allows the customer to be kept informed of the progress of the order without the need for the freight forwarder to send notifications manually.
- Individual configuration depending on the customer
In the system (Files >> Customers >> customer editing >> Customer section >> Loads tab >> field Informing about the completion of the cargo and the implementation of loading and unloading) you can enable individual settings or completely disable the sending of notifications for a given contractor. If global configuration is enabled, individual configuration takes precedence.
Message templates are available in: Configuration >> System configuration >> Printout configuration section >> Templates tab >> sub-tab Information on the implementation ofthe cargo.
The function is activated company-wide by setting the global option in: Configuration >> System configuration >> Order handling tab >> field Sending an email to the customer when the load iscompleted and the loading or unloading is completed.
The sender of the message is the freight forwarder, and the e-mail is sent to the contact person assigned to the freight. The e-mail is sent approximately 5 minutes after the point or freight has been marked as completed. If several points or the entire order with a given load are completed during this time, the system will send a single summary e-mail, so that the customer receives condensed information instead of multiple individual notifications.
New Status filter (multiple choice) in the load list
We have added a new Status filter (multiple choice) to the load list. It allows you to select or exclude several statuses at once, which allows you to narrow down your search results more precisely. This allows the user, for example, to quickly display only loads in progress and new loads, or to filter out completed, cancelled, invoiced and paid loads in order to focus only on current operational work. This solution increases the readability of the list and facilitates daily analysis and supervision of the loads being handled.
